Verses and Questions

"Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him all the earth" Psalm 96:9

- What's the connection between worshiping the Lord and trembling before Him?
- How does this change my perspective on "the splendor of His holiness" if I am also to tremble before Him whom I'm worshiping and adoring?

"...He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with His faithfulness." Psalm 96:13b

- What's the connection between God judging the world and all the people with "His faithfulness?
- What kind of faithfulness are we dealing with?

"...Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, to make her holy cleansing her in the washing of water by the word. He did this to present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and blameless."
Ephesians 5:25-27

- Who then is the church and what does this mean for her?
- Who then is not the church and what does this mean for them?
- How does this effect my church planting job title?

current status: better, thanks to good music, the word, and walks through Paris.

Hello Tim,

I noticed the references to holiness in your blog and thought you might be interested to know I created a website on HOLINESS recently, with many audio resources on the Holiness of God and other items on holiness. The URL is
